Flowers Planted in Autumn

Autumn is the best time to plant flowers for them to take root and hold on to the soil before the winter months come. Flowers planted in autumn have a structure suitable for harsh weather conditions. When you apply the appropriate care suggestions, your plant will add energy to your home with its lively appearance. You can color your home by planting the plants we have compiled for you according to their care characteristics. Let’s take a look at the plants suitable for autumn.

Hyacinth

Hyacinth comes from the lily family. The ideal temperature for this plant, which does not like very cold, is 15 degrees. It does not like to be exposed to direct sun. Its roots are bulbous, so it can proliferate in your pot if cared for properly.

Tulip

Tulip ranks first among the most commonly grown plants. Having a wide variety of colors, you can choose the palette in terms of coloring your home. The homeland of this colorful plant is Western Asia.

When planting flowers with bulbous roots such as hyacinths and tulips in pots, you should be careful to bury them 10-15 cm below the soil. For the garden, 20 cm will be enough. At the same time, you should pay attention to the fact that the water supplied during the winter months is at room temperature.

Violet

Violet is a plant used in many fields. It is especially preferred in cosmetics and food fields. Violet, which likes bright and moist areas, gives flowers quickly, but when planted in a pot larger than itself, it will take root and flower time. It does not like hot places very much, 15 -26 degrees is the appropriate temperature range for Violet. In particular, irrigation should be done on the soil, leaves and flowers should not be watered. Otherwise, you will damage the violet and shorten the life of your plant.

Clove

The scientific name of this flower is Dianthus Caryophyllus. Although there are more than 80 varieties of cloves grown in the Mediterranean region, there are few known species. The life span of the clove varies according to the type. This plant is adaptable to most soils, but accelerates its growth with moist, loose and humus-rich soil. To reproduce the carnation flower, you can separate it from the root and plant it directly in the pot in your home or in the soil in your garden. In this respect, it is an ideal plant to grow at home.

Daffodil

Its scientific name is Narcissus. This name comes from Narcissus, who fascinated everyone with his beauty in Greek mythology.
