How to consume and store asparagus?
You can consume asparagus raw, add it to your salads, cook it in the air fryer or in the oven and serve it with your meals. You can add flavor to your omelets by lightly sautéing it or prepare a delicious soup. You can add a few drops of lemon to increase its flavor even more. It is a great match with Parmesan or other types of cheese and adds flavor to your pasta or quiche recipes.
To preserve their freshness for a long time, you can store asparagus in a jar with a small amount of water in the bottom and store it in the refrigerator door. With this method, it will stay fresh for about 10 days. If you want to store it for a longer time, you can store it in the deep freezer for up to a year using the blanch method.
