Ingredients


  • 250 grams (or 1 cup) of natural honey

  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh or 1 heaping tablespoon of dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice


Making


  • Heat the honey gently in a saucepan (do not boil).

  • Add the thyme sprigs and let it steep for 15-20 minutes.

  • Strain the thyme, add lemon juice if desired, and store in a glass jar.

  • Take 1 teaspoon as needed to soothe the throat and relieve cough.


Thyme and Garlic Respiratory Tea


Ingredients


  • 1 cup hot water

  • 2 sprigs fresh or 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice


Making


Steep thyme and garlic in hot water for 10 minutes. Strain, add honey and lemon if desired, and sip warm.

Making

  • Sliced ​​fresh ginger
